Adobe ColdFusion and FLEX User Group Tour 2009
A Joint CFUGToronto and TorontoFLEX user group meeting.

Ben Forta will be discussing Centaur, the next version of ColdFusion, and Bolt - code name for the highly anticipated first ColdFusion IDE from Adobe. Learn about exciting new features and discover how Centaur and Bolt will accelerate your ColdFusion application development.
There is lots of new FLEX stuff too. Learn about the newest features in the Flex 4 framework, Flex Builder 4 and the newest Adobe product -- Flash Catalyst. See product feature demos, and learn how the new Flex framework powers both Flash Catalyst and Flex Builder to speed the development and testing of rich Internet applications and content.

Please join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00pm, at the Metro Central YMCA, 20 Grosvenor St, Toronto, ON (near Yonge and Wellesley).
Our own Bob Silverberg will recap his adventures at cf.Objective(), where he is set to present a session entitled "Building an Object Oriented Model".
Find out about the latest news, cutting edge technology, and about the larger the CF community.

Come out and meet your fellow CFers, speculate on the features of Centaur, and argue the merits of your favourite framework.

Please join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, March 18th at The Jester on Yonge Tap and Grill, 1427 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, near the corner of Yonge and St. Clair (a two minute walk from St. Clair subway station).
We will have a number of short presentations about using ColdFusion with Flash. The presentations will start at 7:00pm, but feel free to come to the pub anytime after you finish your work day to grab a bite to eat before the meeting. We'll be meeting in the back room of the pub.
Note that we still have room for some presenters at this meeting. If you've used the flash platform with a Coldfusion project, or vice versa, and you give a 15 minute presentation about it at the meeting you will have a 1 in 3 chance (maybe even better) to win a ticket to Flash In the Can (a $600 value). Simply send us an email to book your presentation slot.
